A rather unique-looking structure. Constructed in the 16th-century is provided a home to many different families through the centuries.
In the region, the villa is better known as the tower villa. The tower really has a unique appearance. But not without reason. It was built to observe the stars. Various astronomers and scientists lived in the villa to examine the mysteries from above.
The villa has been abandoned for many decades. It suffered multiple fires from the second half of the 20th-century. These fires destroyed most of its roofs exposing the rooms below to mother nature.
