A prestigious chateaux located within the many vineyards in the region. Back in the day the estate was cultivating vines on around fifty hectares. The chateau was constructed in the late 19th-century in a neo-classical style. But the exterior also incorporates a few characteristics from earlier centuries.
On the short sides, the building is surrounded by turrets reminiscent of the medieval Gothic style with tall narrow openings reminiscent of battlements. But also ogival and quatrefoil-shaped windows were added to the turrets.
I'm not sure for how long the castle has been abandoned but the exterior shows a lot of decay. Some parts of the roof collapsed which will only speed up this process.
