Furia del Cielo

Nestled away in a charming Italian village lies an abandoned 16th-century villa, whose walls and ceiling are adorned with a captivating array of colorful frescoes. These masterpieces remain in remarkable condition, despite the minor cracks that have formed over time, and showcase the artist's skill in creating depth and texture through the use of light and shadow.

The fresco symbolizes the Christian belief that at the end of time, God will judge all mankind and separate the righteous from the wicked. The angels shooting arrows down on the people on earth represent the judgment and punishment of the wicked, while the righteous are saved and lifted up to heaven. This imagery is meant to inspire fear and reverence for God, as well as a sense of urgency to live a righteous life in preparation for the Last Judgment.
