This ballroom was built at the beginning of the 20th-century. The ballroom was attached to a hotel that was built a decade earlier. At the time the ballroom was one of the most appealing halls in the area. Rich in decorative stucco elements on the ceilings and wooden carved columns.
At the beginning of the previous century, many ballrooms emerged in the country. This to serve the wealthy upper-class it’s entertainment. The economy was booming what resulted in higher demand for these cultural events. At one time almost every village would've had a ballroom.
It's unclear to me how long this building has been unused for its initial purpose. But considering the condition, it must have been for quite a while now.
