Fireside Solitude
A beautiful room inside an abandoned mansion that is packed with grandeur and elegance. As you gaze up, your eyes are immediately drawn to the intricate mouldings and patterns adorning the ceiling and walls. In the center of the ceiling, a chandelier hangs suspended. The walls, too, bear witness to the room's former splendour. Detailed panels and moldings, create a symphony of visual delight.

Passeio Nostálgico
As a timeless icon of times gone by, this classic two-wheeler guarantees a nostalgic ride back to the past. The room adorned with colorful murals gives us a good glimpse into the authentic charm and elegance of yesteryear. The poor condition of the room is hard to ignore. The plaster is crumbling from the ceiling, and the murals are slowly fading into a vague memory.

Crumbling Majesty

Nestled within the embrace of an enchanting, forested realm, a Château stands tall. In the late years of the 19th century, the visionary minds of the canton's general councilor and the village's mayor converged to give rise to this architectural gem.

In the deep, mysterious Medina unfolds an enchanting scene. A door, cloaked in symbolism and mystery, reveals the layered history of the region. The colorful Andalusian stripes are a typical feature of the local architecture. The cylindrical ornament, curling upwards like a spiral, is a lush detail that is so characteristic of Islamic architecture.

In the heart of a picturesque vineyard landscape stands a majestic forgotten villa. Stepping into the villa, one is greeted by a magnificent entrance room adorned with round-shaped ornaments. With the sun’s gentle rays filtering through the missing wooden shutters, the room comes alive, casting a warm glow on its surrounding pink walls.

Turkuaz Düşler
A symphony of colors will greet your eyes when you step into this room, inviting you to a world of opulence and beauty. The walls, adorned with hand-painted tiles, tell stories of a bygone era. Each stroke of the artist’s brush captures the essence of the Ottoman empire, vibrant shades of blue, turquoise, red, green, and black blending seamlessly under a lustrous glaze.

Azure Mystic Entrance
A beautiful dark blue door of an abandoned home hidden away in an outlying narrow street in the heart of the medina. The door is decorated with black nails forming symbols such as stars, half-moons, hands, and eyes, to bring good luck and defend against bad spirits in Islamic beliefs.

Staircase of Splendor
Tucked away behind a bustling street, an awe-inspiring Palazzo stands tall. Its grandiose staircase, designed by a renowned architect in the early 18th century, is a work of art. Descending the grand staircase, one couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and amazement at the sheer size of it, a strong contrast to the tight, winding streets of the city. The light that enters from the garden window creates a beautiful effect, highlighting the beauty of the space.

Doors of Tradition
Greek entrances greatly symbolize the country's culture and history. This entry is a good example. The two pillars framing the doors form an aedicule opening. This style of entrance is rooted in ancient Greek history and remains present in much of their modern architecture. The entrance is closed off by two wooden doors each containing a window with iron-wrought inside.

Chateau Noisy
The Belgian Ardennes once was home to this neo-gothic castle. It was named the Castle of Noisy, a.k.a. Château Miranda. Constructed at the end of the 19th century, it was one of the few new neo-gothic buildings in all of Belgium.

Crumbling Charm

With its last meal served on the solid wooden table years ago this dining room is slowly turning into neglect.

Art Nouveau Show
A true architectural beauty. Situated in the middle of a busy square it immediately catches your eye. It's clear that a lot of craftsmanship went into decorating it, with its many ornaments and curved wrought-iron balconies.

Scala Oscura
A stunning double staircase inside an abandoned villa that has been vacant for a long time.

Final Destination
The arrival hall of an abandoned train station. Around 125,000 people from all over the USSR would walk through these doors to begin their vacation. There were even direct trains from Moscow that stopped here. A journey of about 2000 kilometers.

Evergreen Scenery
A wonderful forgotten colonial farmhouse. Surrounded by palm trees it struck me on my morning drive. The sun had just risen above the horizon enlightening the scene beautifully. The fields that surrounded the house appeared to be devoid of life. In contrast to the cactus that has sprouted beneath the roof's gutters.

Manoir Colimaçon
Suburb art nouveau style manoir constructed at the end of the 19th century. Surrounded by large trees and overgrown bushes it really looks like something from a fairy tale.

Neo-baroque villa
