Each room in this magnificent mansion was uniquely designed. Every door and cabinet has intricate details. Typical ottoman style. The mansion as it stands today was built after a previous mansion on the lowest level burned down during a rebellion at the beginning of the 19th century. Old bastion stone caste walls surround the mansion. There is even a watchtower that was built during Mahmut II's reign.
Various families owned the estate over the centuries. The property has now been inherited by the daughter-in-law from the previous owner, according to the neighbors. She may not have been able or interested to maintain the mansion. For that reason I wonder what the future will bring for this wonderful structure.
