Astonishing remains of an ancient cotton mill. Closed for well over 30 years it leaves behind a great collection of textile history. The cotton mill was opened at the beginning of the 20th-century. The inside of the entire structure is a genuine exhibit. Despite the decay, it really feels like walking around in a textile museum. Every room reveals different surprises. Large machinery, offices, a chemical laboratory, walls full of archives, everything you would expect was still there.
The scene was really calm. In some rooms, you could hear the splashing sound of the small river that's passing the factory. You would almost forget that so long ago this was a place where hundreds of people would start their workday. Nowadays the place only breaths emptiness. An echo on what was before.
