The origins of this monastery, adorned with neo-Gothic architecture, can be traced back to the 16th century. However, it was during the 19th century that the construction expanded to reach its original grandeur. Upon exploring the remnants within, one can discern that the monastery served not only as a place of worship but also as a center for diagnosing and treating the villagers’ ailments. Unfortunately, as the years passed, the complex experienced a significant decline, ultimately leading to its closure in the early 1990s. Since then, the monastery has been left to decay, its once vibrant walls now bearing witness to the passage of time.
