On a remote hilltop surrounded by large olive groves reaching into the far distance this church is located. Approaching the church it was immediately clear it suffered for a long period. The church got severely damaged after an earthquake in the late 19th-century. It never got repaired what is clearly visible from every angle. There are several enormous cracks leading from the bottom to the top of the structure. Part of the roof has collapsed and not much of the interior is still present.
As the sky turned darker and darker I packed my drone and found my way into the church. Just in time before it started to rain. Inside it was almost completely dark. But luckily there was just enough light to capture the decayed interior.
