I wouldn't call it ruined - this Italian church is absolutely magical with Mother Nature as its new caretaker! πΏ The stunning baroque sanctuary showcases classical columns and ornate stonework creating a dramatic archway that once framed the altar.

Lush green vegetation cascades from every surface while wild plants carpet the ground where pews once stood in neat rows. The collapsed roof has transformed it into an open-air cathedral where ivy and wild vegetation now climb the weathered stone walls. This photo series showcases some photos from my first visit in 2022 and shots from 2025 when there was better lighting. βοΈ
