Casa Azul is a magnificent example of Victorian-Gothic residential architecture from the early 20th century. The house was commissioned by a Count, who loved art and Gothic style. He collected works of art and books for his city palace. Casa Azul served as his quiet country retreat to escape the busy city life.

The house is colored in a pastel blue, with white decorative elements that give a romantic look. Steep roofs with dormers and high gable tops emphasize the vertical height. Rich carvings adorn the eaves and gable tops. Narrow windows and doors have pointed arches, characteristic of the Gothic style. Balconies with carved wooden pillars decorate the entrances.
Inside, the frescoed living room stands out, as does a spacious upper room with white vaults and zodiac symbols. Despite heirs, the house stands empty and dilapidated. Although it was for sale, it is unclear whether it was sold. Hopefully a solution can be found soon for the future of this special house.
