A true landmark, and one of the most remarkable monuments in the area. Its historical and artistic heritage is breathtaking. This neoclassical-styled palace was built at the end of the 18th-century. It was grafted over the remains of a place of worship wich history dates back to medieval times.
In the last couple of centuries, ownership switched between different families and illustrious people. During the Second World War, the palace suffered from bombing. Its exterior and interior got severely damaged and had to be restored.

Almost every room is decorated with handcrafted ornaments, mosaic floors, and frescoes. The number and size of these artworks are truly overwhelming. Some of them are painted by famous painters from that era. Most of these artworks are still in pristine condition.
Despite its breathtaking appearance, the palace remained empty for quite some time now. Let's hope it will receive a new purpose so all the art inside will be preserved.
