A surreal image. Located along a riverbank this house really looks lost. The river current was strong that day. The front door slowly became visible as the tide pulled back the water. How did it end up here was my first thought. I assumed it must've been dragged into the river due to a flood. Afterward I found out it actually is an art installation. Initially installed on another location along the river. But during a deballasting operation it capsized and was moved to its current location. Where it was anchored to the rocky river bottom. Slightly tilted giving it the illusion that it is slowly disappearing into the river. Brilliant!
