From the road, you would certainly miss it driving by. Located in open countryside the villa is completely surrounded by vegetation. Finding an entrance turned into a small challenge. As the sun was setting it slowly filled up the upper rooms with warm tones. The light had more trouble reaching the ground-floor rooms. This because light only entered from above. Inside the plants covered up large portions of the walls. Even climbing up all the way to the top. Luckily a few frescoes were still visible on the walls. I was surprised all floors were still accessible via the staircase. Although in every room the floors were collapsed I managed to capture the rooms from the hallway. As time passed the orange glow slowly turned into blue shadows. Time to call it a day.
