Mansion C

This ruin is almost completely hidden from view. Surrounded by overgrown bushes and trees it's impossible to spot from the surrounding paths. It used to be a mansion that was built in the late 19th-century on the foundations of a previous 17th-century mansion.

During the communist regime, it was seized by the state. Throughout this period the mansion housed different institutions. At last, it got transformed into a preventorium where children with tuberculosis could live. These preventoriums were established to isolate people who got infected with tuberculosis but did not yet have an active form of the disease.

During an unfortunate accident fixing the roof, a fire emerged causing the complete mansion to burn down. A few years later it also got struck by an earthquake. After these two disasters, a plan was made to restore the mansion to its former state. But these plans were eventually canceled due to a lack of funds.

After the communist rule, the mansion was given back to the rightful inheritors. But all that what they were left with was a ruin.
